Introduction

I've never seeked a doctor about ADD but I have always suspected I had it. I've been recently researching online and in books and think it fits me exactly. I hope to learn more about the disorder and meet other people who can relate.

When were you diagnosed or if you weren't, when did you first suspect ADD?

I was never diasnosed or talked to a doctor about it yet but really want to. I first suspected I had ADD when I was in high school because people kept saying I was "spacey" and wasn't paying attention.

How far back do your symptoms go?

Looking back I think I started having symptoms as early as elementary school. I had lots of trouble focusing and understanding directions and was also extremely chatty and got in trouble.

ADD can bring some strong postives. What are yours?

I'm creative and funny. I'm told I brighten people's days with my uplifting spirit. I'm also very accepting and understanding of other people.

What medications/treatements have you tried?

none

What three areas do you have the most difficulty with?

Focusing, completing tasks (finishing what I started), and getting to places on time.
